Bio: Carolina Rodriguez is a 20-year- old digital artist who has fun while doing what she learned while in high school. To her, the benefit of drawing and painting with digital media is that there is no need to clean the brushes; however, she is working toward a degree in fine arts—a sort of contradiction because in the academy, digital media its still questioned as a valid form of artistic expression. Rodiguez believes that her illustrated work comes from the deepest corners of her mind. She says, "It's been said that we show or speak about what we don't have or what is still unreacheable for us, and with the passing of time, I've come to understand that many of my pieces represent those thoughts I am unable to express."
