Cynthia Reeser is the Editor-in-Chief and founder of Prick of the Spindle. She has a degree in English Literature from Arizona State University, a degree in piano performance, and has had the pleasure of studying at the University of Oxford as a Visiting Student. Cynthia has worked as a staff writer and book review columnist for a military newspaper, as a piano teacher, and is currently a freelance writer and editor. Her poetry and fiction appears or is forthcoming in 42opus, elimae, Temenos, The Dirty Napkin, Artifice Magazine, PicFic, Dogzplot, the Metazen Christmas Book 2009, and others; book reviews appear or are forthcoming on publishers' and other sites throughout the web, including Bookslut.com, NewPages and Tarpaulin Sky; her poetry chapbook, Light and Trials of Light, is forthcoming from Finishing Line Press in early 2010; and she has two nonfiction titles forthcoming from Atlantic Publishing in 2010. She has been a preliminary judge for the Million Writers' Award for the past two years. Cynthia is also a visual artist whose work has appeared in art invitationals, auctions, and other shows throughout Louisiana.
